Hawker Audax on Edendocher
The second wreck of the day and very conveniently only about 1 km from the Master, took quite a while to find this one as it wasn't where we expected it and the visibility was low, we only found it on our way back in fact! This one came down on 5th of May 1939 with both crew happily surviving, this can be seen by the fact that the fuselage is fairly intact apart from all the canvas being rotted away through time.
Flash examines where the cockpit area would have been. This time it's me at the wreck!
The snow seen lying on the heather round the wreck indicating that it wasn't overly warm, the hills of Scotland in winter, mmm.
